Laurel Blood Drive Results

LAUREL —When a community shows up for its neighbors, lives are saved. This March, Laurel community members proved exactly that transforming community spirit into lifesaving action at the most recent Laurel Community Blood Drive. 32 units of blood were collected from 29 generous donors, enough to help up to 96 patients in local hospitals.

March is a time when communities come alive - neighbors reconnect, doors open, and people remember what they mean to each other.

Blood donation is one of the most direct expressions of that spirit.

Each unit collected supports heart surgeries, emergency procedures, trauma care, and ongoing treatments happening right here, close to home. Patients in local hospitals don’t wait for a convenient season and because of Laurel donors, they don’t have to.

Some donors don’t just give once - they keep showing up. LifeServe Blood Center proudly recognizes those whose sustained commitment has built a reliable, life-sustaining blood supply for local hospitals.

Your loyalty is the backbone of this community’s lifesaving work.

Hosting a blood drive is an act of community leadership - and your continued partnership ensures that lifesaving blood stays local and available when it’s needed most.

The Laurel community’s work isn’t done. LifeServe is actively seeking volunteers to help recruit donors, raise awareness, and make every donor feel welcomed. It takes a community to save a community - and there’s a role for everyone.
