Mayor Presents Proclamation Honoring Nebraska Kid Governor

At last night’s Laurel City Council meeting, Mayor Keith Knudsen presented an official proclamation recognizing Laurel-Concord-Coleridge fifth grader Alma White for her achievement as a Nebraska Kid Governor.

During the meeting, Mayor Knudsen congratulated Alma on her leadership and commitment to civic engagement at such a young age. The proclamation highlighted her dedication to representing Nebraska students and encouraging youth involvement in government and community leadership.

Council members and attendees joined the mayor in applauding Alma for her accomplishment and for being a positive example for young people in the Laurel community. Her selection as Nebraska Kid Governor reflects both her passion for making a difference and the strong support for student leadership within the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge School District.
