Reyes earns scholarship for early childhood education

LAUREL — Alejandra Reyes, Hartington, has been awarded the Teacher Education and Compensation Helps (T.E.A.C.H.) Scholarship through the Nebraska Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

She is currently employed by Building Blocks Early Childhood and Family Development Center, Laurel, and they are pleased to celebrate one of the teachers at the daycare. This scholarship recognizes early childhood educators who are committed to furthering their education and continuing to grow in the field of early childhood.

Reyes’ dedication to learning and improving her skills shows every day in the care, patience and love she gives to the children in the program. Her commitment helps us continue to strengthen the quality of care and education provided to the families.

Building Blocks is incredibly proud of all that Reyes has accomplished and cannot wait to see all the amazing things ahead for her.
