WAYNE — Dane Gotch, Newcastle, a student at Hartington-Newcastle High School, has been selected as a recipient of the Board of Trustees’ Scholarship beginning Fall 2026. This prestigious scholarship is awarded in recognition of outstanding high school academic achievements.
The Board of Trustees’ Scholarship provides a full tuition award, up to 18 credit hours per semester for four years, provided the student maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or better. Based on the current tuition rate, the maximum value of this scholarship over four years is over $29,000.
This scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic achievements. To be eligible, a student must: a. Have an ACT composite score of 25 or higher and 3.0 GPA or higher; b. Must be a graduate of an accredited Nebraska high school; c. Must be enrolling for the first time in a post-high school institution
