2011: City takes possession of empty corner lot

RANDOLPH — David Korth gave a slide presentation on his recent studies in Israel at St. Frances Catholic Church basement Saturday evening.

Korth, son of Leonard and Margaret Korth, studied in Israel three months in 1990. A student of the School of Divinity of St. Paul, Minn. He is a 1984 graduate of RHS.

Feb. 6, 1991

RANDOLPH — Rev. and Mrs.

Douglas Crowder, who are visiting Elaine’s mother, Mrs. Lois Graham, were guests of honor Sunday at the Randolph First United Methodist Church.

The Crowder’s have worked as missionaries of the United Methodist Church for over 30 years, in Zaire, Central Africa. They will return to Zaire in May.

Feb. 6, 1991

BELDEN— Jim Hay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Hay of Belden, left Wednesday for Fort Benning, Ga., to report for duty with the United States Army in Operation Desert Storm.

Feb. 7, 2001

RANDOLPH — Randolph area telephone subscribers were recently informed by mail of the upcoming intent to sell the Randolph phone exchange.

Citizens Telecommunications Company of Nebraska, a subsidiary of Citizens Communications Company, will become Randolph’s new provider on Thursday, March 1.
