LEIGH — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge boys wrestling program headed south for the Clarkson-Leigh Boys Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Feb. 6 and scored just 10 points as a team to finish 20th in the 22-team field in the final regular season tournament before heading into next week’s districts.
Cedar Catholic came away with the team title with 154.5 points, East Butler was second with 152.
Owen Johnson (106), Paul Allison (175) and Jake Lipp (190) managed the only wins on the day with each getting one victory.
Weston Patefield (138), Alex Allison (165), Jayson Wayman (175JV) and Devyn Staples (285) also competed in the tournament.
The Bears travel to Madison for the C-1 District Wrestling Tournament Feb. 14.
