HARTINGTON — The Newcastle School Board has voted and is now preparing to erect a new $75,000 school building.

LAUREL- N.S. Peterson, who is living on the N.J. Nielsen farm, known as the old Simpson farm advertises a sale preparatory to moving onto a farm near Wausa.

LAUREL- Chris Rath advertises a farm sale in this issue. Rath is leaving the farm, moving to Morningside, where he has purchased a home. His son, George, will move onto the home place and his son, Fritz, will occupy his other farm.

LAUREL- The Hartington Racing Association is arranging for a three day meet and is hanging up $30,000 in prizes.

LAUREL- The boxing contest Thursday evening drew a large crowd to the auditorium. The main contest was an eight round one between Lou Chapman of Sioux City and Jack Waldron, which was won by the former.
Waldron took the first three rounds and Chapman the last five. Jack Hilton won the four round contest over Fritz Matschullat of Randolph and Ford Gilson lost to O.D. Salley of Crofton.
The contest between Harm Sawatzke of Crofton and Buster Calvert was declared a draw. The wrestling contest by the Shively twins was won by Clarence.
