NORFOLK - The Randolph Lady Cardinal wrestling team made the trek to Norfolk Jan. 31 for the Norfolk Catholic Girls Wrestling Invitational.
The Lady Cards took five wrestlers to the tournament and all five earned spots on the podium at the end of the tournament.
Battle Creek won the team title with 157.5 points, Millard West was second with 150 and Norfolk Catholic was third with 100.5.
Randolph posted 38 team points which put the Lady Redbirds in seventh place in the team standings.
The Lady Cardinals got a second-place finish from Khloe Weiss at 235 pounds, a couple of thirds from Peyton Thelen (130) and Gracie Wortman (135) and two fourths from Mabel Ngebeh (145) and Maddy Aulner (170).
The Lady Cards will head to Columbus Feb. 6 and 7 for the District Wrestling Meet.
