PLAINVIEW - The Cedar Catholic wrestling team seems to be hitting another gear as it heads into the final weeks of the season.
Cedar Catholic used three champions, five runners-up, a fifth-place wrestler and 197 points to bring home the big trophy from the Plainview Boys Wrestling Invitational Jan. 31.
The Trojans outdistanced the host Pirates by 14.5 points to win the championship, East Butler was third at 164.5 and
Randolph was fourth with 97.5 points.
Bodie, Easton and Brady Hochstein all won their weight divisions at 144,150 and 165 pounds respectively.
Maverick Heine (132), Kody Bartling (138), Hunter Kuchta (157),Broderick Kleinschmit (175) and Anson Noecker (190) each brought home a silver medal.
Keyan Wickre earned fifth-place hardware after going 3-2 in the tournament.
Cedar is set to wrestle in the C-i District Tournament in Madison on Feb. 14.
