LCC fourth graders Brooklyn Lawyer and Lena Brummels enjoyed playing on the swings at recess last Wednesday. The 39-degree weather that day proved to be the warmest of the week as the thermometer dipped into below zero temperatures for most of the rest of the week. The below-zero temperatures continued early this week, too, but the National Weather Service is predicting highs in the high teens and low 20s the rest of this week. Darin Epperly | Laurel Advocate
