LAUREL — Changing the date of Ag Days to coincide with Laurel-Concord High School’s Homecoming celebration met with mixed feelings when presented at the Laurel Chamber Community Club annual meeting Jan. 16. Melissa Graham, the new President of the Laurel Chambers Community Club Board, explained the activities and ideas they had come up with to coordinate the two events.

Local business people indicated they prefer to leave Ag Days during June. Several agreed that the community should become more involved in helping encourage more people to turn out for Homecoming, but felt Ag Days was also needed as an independent event. No decisions were made at this time.
