PLAINVIEW — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Lady Bears competed in the Greater Northeast Activities Conference Wrestling Tournament Jan. 22 and finished seventh in the girls team standings with 23 points.
West Holt claimed the team championship with 187.5 points. Plainview/Osmond placed second with 124.5, and Summerland was third with 110.5.
Tae Settje finished second at 115 pounds. She opened the day with a win over Deanna Kumm of Plainview/ Osmond by fall at the 2:26 mark before dropping a bout to Allie Oligmueller of West Holt by fall.
Grace Galvin placed fourth at 140 pounds after winning her opening match over Abby Arroyo of Summerland by a narrow 3-2 decision.
The Lady Bears were set to travel to Randolph for a dual on Jan. 29 and then compete at the Ainsworth Invitational on Jan. 30. Postseason is not far off for the wrestlers.
