Winners of the 2025 Amateur Photography Contest Announced

HARTINGTON — The Lewis & Clark Natural Resources District is pleased to announce the winners of its fourth annual Amateur Photography Contest. The 2025 contest encouraged residents across the district to explore and capture the natural beauty around them. Participants were invited to submit images highlighting nature, wildlife, conservation, and agriculture.

Staff and directors selected the top photographs through a ranking process.

This year’s winners are:

• First Place: “Morning Light” by Jeanne Young, Wausa

• Second Place: “Smoke on the Hills” by Rebekah Poppe, Bloomfield

• Third Place: “Winter Wisps” by Paul Hans, Wynot Thank you to everyone who shared their talent and passion. The next contest will be launched this summer. Your continued enthusiasm and support make this annual event a success, and we appreciate the community’s engagement.
