HARTINGTON — The Lewis and Clark Natural Resources District is offering two $1,000 Patefield–Green Memorial Scholarships to outstanding high school seniors residing within the district. These scholarships are intended for students pursuing an agricultural-related career, with plans to return to the area and contribute to conserving and protecting local natural resources.
Applicants will be judged on the following criteria: how and where they plan to use their education, their understanding and awareness of natural resource conservation, individual initiative, and community involvement. Students are encouraged to highlight their achievements—individually or through groups such as 4-H, FFA, National Honor Society, student government, church, or civic organizations. Applicants must reside within LCNRD boundaries and pursue a degree in an agricultural or closely related field.
