PLAINVIEW - The second Greater Northeast Activities Conference wrestling tournament went off without a hitch Jan. 22 with the hosts, Plainview taking the team title in the boys meet.
The Pirates put up 198.5 points with West Holt second with 142.
Hartington-Newcastle posted 56 team points which placed the Wildcats in sixth.
Three HNS wrestlers made All-GNAC honorable mention for their efforts in the meet.
Grady Lammers at 126, Cris Kneifl at 175 and Kyptin Collier at 215 were all named honorable mention to the All-GNAC Team with their second-place finishes in their respective weight classes.
Lammers and Collier went 2-1 on the day while Kneifl went 1-1.
The Wildcats will return to the mat back in Plainview Jan. 31 for the Plainview Invitational.
