Staples takes part in Morningside Festival Choir

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Laurel-Concord-Coleridge junior Christian Staples participated in the recent Morningside Festival Choir.

This intensive two-day event brought together 150 vocalists to collaborate with Ryan Person, Choral Director at Morningside University, and celebrated composer Kyle Pederson.

The festival concluded with a performance of “A Vision Unfolding,” composed and accompanied by Pederson. The concert was a collaborative effort, featuring auditioned high school soloists alongside the Morningside University Choir and the Papillion La Vista South Concert Choir.
