LCC 5th grader inaugurated at the state capitol

LINCOLN — This school year Alma White, fifth grade at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge School ran for Nebraska’s Kid Governor.

In order to run, White first had to create a campaign video. She was first elected by her fifth grade class, which allowed her to move onto the state election where she was elected to be on the Governor’s cabinet.

She attended her official inauguration recently at the state capitol building with a few other students across Nebraska that were also elected.
