This year Facebook voters helped decide the 2025 Cedar County News Photo of the Year. Cedar Catholic wrestling coaches Jerome Boutard and Justin Bartling couldn't contain their emotions as they leap into the air to celebrate as the whistle sounds on Easton Hochstein’s state title match. Hochstein earned a hard-fought 6-5 decision over Colten Kelley of Kearney Catholic. Kelley came into the match with a perfect 55-0 record, while Hochstein was also undefeated at 50-0.
