OSMOND - The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge boys wrestling team competed at the Osmond-Wausa Invitational where the Bears ended up 10th with 34.5 points.
West Point-Beemer won the team title with a score of 194.5 points with West Holt second with 184.5 and Creighton third with 112.
Jake Lipp at 190 pounds brought home the secondplace hardware in his weight class after winning three bouts by pin and one by decision before falling in the finals to Pierce Jeannoutot of Crofton/Bloomfield in the finals.
Weston Patefield was fourth at 138, Owen Johnson was fifth at 106, while Alex Allison (165) and James Recob (215) were listed at sixth in their respective weight classes.
The LCC boys wrestlers will return to the mat Jan. 9 at the Winside Invitational.
