RANDOLPH - The St. Frances Blue Jays won a pair of contests last week downing Belden 56 to 44 Friday and dumping Kellbert 54 to 21 Tuesday.
St. Frances 56 - Belden 44 A hot fourth quarter sparked the Jays to a 56 to 44 win over Belden at Belden.
Gary Dickes paced the Jays with 20 points while McLain was Belden’s leading scorer with 11.
Belden’s second team edged the Jays seconds 35 to 31. Jerome Dickes and Ed Sauser each tallied 10 points for St. Frances.
St. Frances 56 - Kellbert 21 The Jays spilled Kellbert 56 to 21 on the home court Tuesday with a scoring spree in the second half.
Gary Dickes tossed in 21 points for the winners while Hangman paced the Kellbert attack with 9 points.
St. Frances clipped the Kellbert second team 37 to 9. Jerome Dickes and Ed Sauser were the leading scorers for the Jays.

RANDOLPH - A number of changes in residence have taken place in the past week for people of this community.
Thursday the Bill Dowling family moved into their new home located on the corner west of the Methodist church and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Graham moved into the house vacated by the Dowlings. Grahams had purchased this house, located just west of the Methodist parsonage, from the Dowlings some time ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brummels moved Friday from town to the Ernest Graham farm, where they will occupy the buildings. Moving Friday into the house vacated by the Brummels were Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Cunningham, who left the farm after having a sale last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Remington and family moved Tuesday to the farm left by the Cunninghams and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bach are to occupy the place north of Randolph left by the Remingtons.

RANDOLPH - Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Dominisse are winners of the $15 first place prize in the Christmas home lighting contest sponsored by the Randolph Community Club.
Their winning entry is a complete Nativity scene, featuring well colored and assembled figures of the Holy Family, Wise Men, Shepherds and animals which make up the manger scene.
Second place and a $10 award go to Mr. and Mrs. John Kelsch and the third place winner, with a $5 prize, is Dallas Schmitt.
The Kelsch’s display includes a sleigh, Santa Claus and a group of carolers. It was selected for its arrangement and lighting.
The Nativity scene entry by Dallas Schmitt was chosen for its originality.

RANDOLPH -Owners and operators of the Weyhrich Skelly Service here are Warren (Breezy) Kent and Marvin Weyhrich.
The partners have operated the business since July 1, 1959. Mr. Kent had previously owned the business for five years, purchasing the business from Mr. Weyhrich’s father, Henry Weyhrich.
The elder Weyhrich had owned the business since 1946.
The firm features Skelly gasoline and oil, Hood tires and Delco batteries, in addition to operating a tank wagon service.
Besides regular car servicing the business features motor tune-up and brake servicing.
Mr. Kent is a native of Laurel and his wife is the former Shirley Weyhrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weyhrich. Their children are Carolyn, 13, and Timothy, 4.
Marvin Weyhrich is a native of the Randolph community and his wife is the former Margaret Shindeldecker of Pennsylvania. The Weyhrichs resided at Wayne 10 years before coming here in 1959. Their children are Darrell, 10, and Robert, 7.
