1,000 Books

Grayson Newsani is “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” award winner. Grayson, son of David and Amy Newsani, received a medal, a certificate, his final prize and a free book from the Hartington Public Library. Grayson will be entering Kindergarten at Holy Trinity Grade School in the fall of 2026. Grayson likes to visit the library and loves reading books. His favorite books are anything about Paw Patrol and all the Llama Llama books. His favorite tiling about the library is when he gets to feed the Old Lady at Story-Time for Miss Kim. Great job to dad and 1110m for instilling the love of books and library at a young age. Please stop by or call the Hartington Public Library at 402-254-6245. Darcy Stappert, daughter of Cody and Lindsay Stappert, received a medal, a certificate, and her final prize, a free book from the Hartington Public Library. When she completed the 1000 Books before Kindergarten Program. Darcy will be entering Kindergarten at Hartington- Newcastle Public School in the fall of 2026. Darcy likes to visit the library Saturday mornings with 1110111 and dad because it is so fun. Her favorite books are Pete the Cat and Pinkalicious. Awesome job, mom and dad, for instilling the love of books and library at such a young age. This program was launched to get children ready for school, and to encourage more parent/child library visits.
