LCC Elementary Circle of Friends Sponsors Successful Food Drive

LAUREL —The LCC Elementary Circle of Friends recently sponsored a school-wide Food Drive as part of their annual service project, and the response was nothing short of outstanding! Students and families from across the entire elementary school came together to support the cause, donating an impressive 1,050 food items to help stock the local food pantry.

Circle of Friends, a group with 55 dedicated elementary members, works to promote friendship, inclusivity, and community involvement throughout the school year. The Food Drive served as a meaningful opportunity for students to give back and make a difference within the community.

The group is proudly led by Mrs.Fernau and Mrs. Reifenrath, who help guide students in building positive relationships while encouraging leadership and service. Mrs. Fernau and Mrs. Reifenrath would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all students, families, and staff for their incredible support and generosity.

Thanks to the amazing efforts of the entire LCC Elementary community, the Food Drive was a tremendous success and will have a meaningfulimpact on local families in need.
