RANDOLPH — Brad Johnson and Brian Moore were named as one of the elite Norfolk Daily News Top 20 football players in northeast Nebraska this past week.
Receiving honorable mention on the Norfolk paper’s honor squad were Conley Seyl, Scott Kruger and Randy Green. Johnson, Moore and Kruger were honored as honorable mention all-staters in Class C in the Sunday Omaha World Herald.
Dec. 4, 1980 RANDOLPH — Gary Speer, Title 1 administrator, Mrs. Vincent Meyer and Mrs. Dennis Nordhues, Title 1 Parent Advisory council members, represented the Randolph public School at the second annual Title 1 Parents Training conference in Omaha November 18.

RANDOLPH — Janine Van Slyke is the first place winner in the 44th Annual Voice of Democracy Script Writing Scholarship Program. The theme of this year’s contest was “Democracy The Vanguard of Freedom.”

RANDOLPH — Approximately 740 people were served at the annual Randolph Community Club’s Appreciation Pancake supper on Saturday. Other activities during the supper were the Randolph Arts Council tree decorating contest.
