CREIGHTON - The Randolph Cardinal wrestling team got the 2025-26 campaign off to a great start by taking the team title at the Creighton Invitational Dec. 6 with every wrestler the Cards put on the mat bringing home some hardware and three champions.
Bentley Reimers, who moved up to 120 pounds this season, pinned his way to a title with three consecutive pins over Creighton’s Sam Rosekland at 3-minutes and 16-second expired in the match, stuck Joseph Rock of Creighton in 3:40 and took the title with a fall at the 5:11 mark over Tucker Steffen of Guardian Angels Central Catholic.
Cole Jensen also won his 138-pound weight class with four falls.
Jensen pinned Isaiah Kettleson of Newman Grove/St. Edward, Mason True of Osmond, Zane Potter of NG/SE and Nathan Buda of Creighton.
Tate Broderson won his championship at 150 with three matches shortened by pins.
He opened with a pin over Ethan Kuhlman of Creighton, then stuck Thaddeus Keller of Creighton and finished his day with a pin over teammate Trey Tjaden, who placed third.
Elijah Bermel joined Tjaden by placing third at 157 and Ty Sievers added a third-place showing at 175.
Talyn Meyer was fourth for the Cards at 132, Josh Miller was also fourth at 175 and Esai Warman placed fourth at 190 pounds.
Kamdin Worlein was fifth at 138. The Cardinals are set to wrestle at the Stan ton Invitational on Dec. 13.
