WYNOT — The Wynot Lady Blue Devils took on Bloomfield Thursday. The Queen Bees used big first and third quarter runs to down Wynot 51-40.
Bloomfield got double-figure scoring from Madison Mlady with 20 points and Kennedy Mlady helped out finishing with 12 point.
Wynot was paced by Kenna Oligmueller and Addison Sharpe with 13 and nine points respectively.
The Bees got 10 points from Madyson Mlady and five points from Aleaha James as they raced to a 16-5 first quarter lead. Kenna Oligmueller hit the only field goal for the period as the Devils had trouble finding the basket.
Wynot would rally in the second quarter lead by six points from Kenna Oligmueller and five points from Haley Wieseler. Peyton Eisenhower hit a pair of baskets and Madyson Mlady drained a three pointer for the Bees but Wynot had cut their lead to 26-22 at halftime. The Queen Bees widened the lead in the third frame. Led by six points each from Madyson Mlady and Kennedy Mlady the home team increased their lead to 41 -30 going into the final stanza. In the final quarter the Lady Blue Devils got five points from Addison Sharpe and a basket each from Jordan Foxhoven and Haley Wieseler, but it was not enough as the Lady Bees finished with a 15-10 run led by four points from Kennedy Mlady to earn the 51-40 win.

The Wynot Lady Blue Devils had little trouble dealing with the Winside Lady Wildcats Friday, rolling to a 6119 win to even their record to 1-1 with the Lewis and Clark conference win.
Wynot was paced by Kenna Oligmueller with 17 points and Addison Sharpe with 10 points. Haley Wieseler, Tiara Sudbeck and Kiera Heimes all hit three pointers in the game.
Ellie Topp led the Wildcats with eight points and Hadleigh Schutt hit for seven points for the visitors.
In the opening frame Kenna Oligmueller worked the paint for eight quick points and Jordan Foxhoven had a bucket plus one to give Wynot the early 13-4 lead. Hadley Sellin and Hadleigh Schutt scored a bucket for Winside.
The second quarter saw Ellie Topp hit for five points and the Shutt sisters each contributed a basket for Winside. Wynot would build their lead to 2714 with four points from Addison Sharpe and a three pointer each by Haley Wieseler and Tiara Sudbeck.
In the third quarter Topp and Schutt each hit a basket for the Wildcats.
Six more points each from Oligmueller and Sharpe along with a trey by Kiers Heimes pushed Wynot’s lead to 55-19 going into the final quarter of play.
Reserves mopped up in the final quarter. Mackenzie Foxhoven and Tiara Sudbeck each hit a basket for Wynot. Winside did not score in the period as Wynot earned the 61-19 win.
