Aug. 8: Man from South Yankton campground calls to report he is in a dispute with his landlord. The landlord wants to evict him, even though he has a signed lease, he is advised to talk to the County Attorney.
Laurel man reports his car has been stolen. It was later located in Allen.
Caller reports seeing an impaired driver on Highway 81 that is “swerving all over and driving about 40 miles per hour, then speeds up to about 60.
Man calls to say he is west of Randolph and was forced off the road by a car thst is “speeding like crazy.”
Randolph Fire Department is paged to the doctor’s office for a power line in front of the building that is down and “smoking like crazy.”
Caller reports a suspicious person in a vehicle taking pictures of their house.
Caller reports there are about 20 cows out near Obert.
Fire Department calls to report they have issued a burn permit for Jean Wiebelhaus.
Wynot man calls about a property dispute with his mother.
Officer calls in with status report. A vehicle on Highway 12 near Wynot stopped in the middle of the road. Officer investigated. The driver was lost on his way to Omaha. Officer helped him get his GPS operating properly and then sent him on his way.
Aug. 9: Caller reports there was a cow-truck collision 12 near Obert. The vehicle appears to be a total loss.
Hartington resident concerned about a vehicle behind their building that has been running for at least an hour.
Caller from Meridian Campground calls to report a man was stung by a bee and had passed out.
He needs medical attention.
Aug. 10: Man calls to report his girl friend just called. She is at a party and a fight had broken out. One man has a shotgun and she heard shots fired. Deputy investigates and hears conflicting reports.
Domestic dispute call comes in from Laurel. Dispatcher hears yelling in the background. Laurel Police Officer is advised.
Man calls to advise his tire blew out. He is four-tofive miles west of Laurel. He is trying to get a new tire, and asks that his car please not get towed.
Man involved in early morning fight calls to complain he was assaulted by officer and handcuffed for no reason.
Aug. 11: Woman calls to report she has hit a deer on Highway 57 and wants law enforcement to be aware of it.
Randolph caller asks for an ambulance for medical issue.
Aug. 12: Man calls concerned about a vehicle that keeps driving around his property. He gave dispatch the license plate number and asked if they could tell him who the vehicle belongs to. He was told they are not able to give out that information.
Hartington woman calls for an ambulance for her mother who was having trouble breathing.
Man reports several cows out on the road on Highway 81 just south of Highway 12.

Caller reports seeing a Chevy Malibu weaving back and forth on Hwy. 84.
Man reports he slid into the ditch on the Sholes road and rolled his vehicle.
