RANDOLPH — Second-year Randolph head boys basket ball coach Cory Simpson welcomed four starters back from last year’s edition of Cardinal basketball, which should lead to improvement on last season’s 10-15 record.
Three seniors and a junior return after starting last season led by senior Logan Lienemann, teammates Luke Harder, Adrian Samano and Ryan Engel join L ienemann as returning starters.
Lienemann put up 15 points per game last season and was named to the Lewis & Clark All Conference First Team.
Harder was All Conference Honorable Mention and scored just under nine points per contest and yanked down almost five rebounds per game.
Trindan Ziems, a senior that transferred in from Plainview, should help in the middle for Simpson and the Redbirds. The coach is expecting help from Brecken Shearer, Corbin Wattier, Kody Junck and Jaylen Junck.
