2020: Newly approved sales tax will begin in April

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Hartington native Ben Hochstein was named last week to the prestigious all-North Central Conference football team.

Hochstein is a 6-4, 285-pound offensive guard for the University of Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks.

He moved into a starting role at right guard last year as a redshirt freshman in 2004.

HARTINGTON — The Hartington-Newcastle One Act cast and crew hoisted the 2020 L&C Clark Division championship trophy last week.

Their performance of “Kiss Me, Kate,” awed judges.

Wausa-Osmond took the runner up honors with their play “Hold On.” In addition to winning the team title with the play, HNS students Isaac Bruning, Keanna Korth, Kayden Jueden, Reece Morten, Jude Krie, Parker Hopping, Lane Heimes and Carsen Hopping were all recognized for outstanding performances.
