Man reports a vehicle rollover on a county road near Coleridge. He said the driver is out of the vehicle and walking around but has blood on her hands and should be checked out. Dispatcher informs a deputy and pages out an ambulance.
Laurel woman called about suspicious activity at her house. A man pulled into her driveway, knocked on the door then got back in his truck and drove off. The truck did not have a license plate.
Laurel woman called to report an assault. A man swung a heavy object at her, which broke her glasses. She is uninjured but her glasses are badly broken. She said the man went home to pass out.
Aug. 6: Randolph woman calls for an ambulance. She is having chest pains and they seem to be getting worse.
Hartington nursing home calls for ambulance for woman with a possible stroke.
Hartington business calls to report a fraudulent check.
Laurel woman calls to report an elderly woman has fallen and is injured. Ambulance is dispatched.
Hartington man calls to report a neighbor’s dog came into his yard and bit his son. Officer is sent out to investigate.
Caller requests a welfare check on an infant who is currently staying at the Randolph motel with her mother. Caller believes the child is extremely malnourished and in need of medical attention.
Woman calls asking for a welfare check on her son. She left for work and he was really depressed -now she can’t find him anywhere.
Caller reports that his neighbor’s dog is on his property “’it keeps coming over and killing my animals. Can I shoot the dog? Dispatcher transfers call to a deputy to handle.
Dispatch receives a report of cows out on the road near Laurel. The owner is contacted.

Caller reports he was following a vehicle with a government license plate. The vehicle was all over the road, crossing back and forth over the center line.
Aug. 8: Sheriffs office gets a report that an alarm is going off at a Laurel business.
Laurel police investigated an accident scene where a traffic sign was damaged. Officer spoke with the man and is concerned about his mental health. He called dispatch to get some back up.
Caller reports there is a vehicle in his field and damaged fence. The airbags went off in the vehicle but no one is around.
A call comes in from a cell phone reporting it has been in an accident. Wynot ambulance is paged out.
