Free drinking water nitrate testing available at NRD office

HARTINGTON —The Lewis and Clark Natural Resources District (LCNRD) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are providing free water nitrate testing for domestic well users. To participate, fill a clean, small glass jar with your water sample and drop it off at the Hartington NRCS Office, located at 102 E. Elm Street, between December 1st and December 5th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For further details, contact LCNRD at 402-254-6758 or NRCS at 402-254-6858 (ext. 3).
