BRADY HOCHSTEIN- SENIOR (132 carries for 1,075 yards 14TD’s, 3 receptions for 10 yards 1TD; 111 tackles, 20 TFL 2.5SACKS): “Brady Played a pivotal role in our success this year. He led us in rushing and in tackles. He also had a role on special teams. Brady truly exemplifies what hard work will do for someone. His improvements over the course of the last tw o years were unbelievable and that is a tribute to his work ethic and desire for excellence from himself.”
WILL STEFFEN- JUNIOR (48 tackles, 9TFL 1SACK): “Will had a great season on both sides of the ball. He also stepped in as our long snapper this year. Will has great footwork and he uses his hands extremely well which makes him a great lineman. He is the type of player that when he gets his hands on you , you probably aren’t going to get away. He also was double teamed most of the year which was able to free up other guys to make plays on defense.”
SAM WIEBELHAUS- SENIOR (43 tackles, 3TFL 1.5 SACKS): “Sam was a really good player for us on both sides of the ball. His desire to be successful made him a tough matchup for teams because he would outwork eve ryone he faced. He was also a great vocal leader for us. His positive attitud e and relentless effort made him an easy player for others to follow.”
JARED RUTAR- SENIOR (35 tackles 3TFL; 32 of 37 PAT’s): “Jared was just a solid player all year for us. He was somewhat unnoticed at times because he was always doing exactly what he was supposed to do, which is exactly what you want from your linemen. His strength and ability to use his hands and feet really separated him from many opponents. He also came on really strong this year as our primary PAT/field goal kicker.
SENIOR (42 carries for 374 yard 6TD; 37 tackles 5TFL): “Unfortunately Breiton had some injury issues during the year, but he remained positive and continued to contribute when he was on the field. He really became a lockdown corner for us during his career, which started as him playing outside linebacker. He also gave us great contributions as a special teams player with his big play abilities.”
EASTON HOCHSTEIN- JUNIOR (43 carries for 440 yards 4TD, 6 receptions for 51 yards 2TD; 88 tackles 9.5TFL 1SACK): “Easton stepped into a variety of roles this year, including linebacker, fullback and returner. He was a threat in all three areas for us. He became an excellent runner when he had the ball in his hands and he was also a great tackler for us both between the tackles and on the perimeter.”
