Ngebeh on L&C coaches list
RANDOLPH - Lady Cardinal outside hitter Mabel Ngebeh was tabbed by the Lewis & Clark Conference coaches to the honorable mention list for play on the volleyball court this fall.
Ngebeh led the Lady Cards in kills posting 152 in her final season for head coach Lyndsee English.
“Mabel is very deserving of this honor as she was our ‘go-to’ player in the front row when we needed a kill,” said English. “She was a six rotation player that we utilized as one of our two main passers in serve receive. Her presence on the court as a dominant player helped conference coaches to recognize her.”
Conference champion and Class D2 State Champion Wynot placed three players on the Lewis & Clark first team led by senior Kenna Oligmueller who the coaches recognized as the “captain” of the elite squad.
Haley Wieseler and Jordan Foxhoven joined Oligmueller on the first team for the Lady Blue Devils. Conference runner-up Tri County Northeast placed a couple of players on the team in senior Kiya Tornez and junior Joslyn Mackling; Homer, Bloomfield and Wausa each had one player on the list.
