RANDOLPH — Between Christmas shopping and family gatherings, area residents are being asked to make room this December for a gift that never goes out of style — the gift of life.
LifeServe Blood Center is encouraging Randolph-area donors to roll up their sleeves during the holiday season, a time when blood supplies often dip but patient needs do not. Local hospitals depend on volunteer donors year-round, including those spending the holidays in treatment instead of at home.
Randolph’s community blood drive is set for 12:30–6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at 119 N. Main St.
As a thank-you, donors who give blood anytime Dec. 17–31 will receive a voucher for LifeServe’s trademark holiday long-sleeve shirt, while supplies last.
Additional nearby drives include: Hartington: 12:30–6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 at 206 E. Main St.
Coleridge: Noon–3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 111 S. Main St.
Appointments can be made at lifeservebloodcenter.org or by calling 800-287-4903.
