Cedar Catholic one-act play features a large cast this year

Cedar Catholic is performing The Great Easter Egg Hunt, a comedy that examines the Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Umatilla and the lives of those who are searching for the elusive golden egg.

This year’s cast features over 40 kids on stage, sometimes all together.

“We have a group of strong talented actors and actresses who bring a lot of life and laughter to each individual character,” said Director Audrey Freeman. “ There isn’t a practice where we aren’t cracking up and each student is an integral part to the performance.

The troup will perform at the Minion

Swedish One-Act Festival at Wausa on Nov. 17 and at the Mid-States Conference at Johnny Carson Theater in Norfolk Nov. 18.

School Performance will be at Holy Trinity Gym Nov. 26 and a public performance will be at Holy Trinity Gym Nov. 24 at 7 p.m.
