July 29: Woman with severe abdom - inal pain calls for an ambulance. Coleridge ambulance is paged out.

July 30: Laurel woman calls to tell Sheri's Department that a man is lighting fireworks and throw - ing them into her yard where they explode. Woman called to ask for a welfare check for a friend she works with. She called in that she would not be able to work, and now she can't be reached.

Randolph nursing home calls for an am - bulance for an elderly woman with a possible stroke.

Laurel woman calls to say she just saw a funnel cloud. Dispatch - er said National Weath - er Service reports it was a cold air funnel.

Randolph Fire Department units are out of service because they are doing a drill at Colonial Manor.

July 31: Woman called to report a light colored pick up truck just ran all the stop signs on Broadway Avenue. "It almost hit a bunch of kids. It runs stop signs all the time. I just don't want anyone getting hurt.”

Coleridge Fire De - partment issued a burn permit for Boyd Ebber - son. Woman called to report a suspicious vehi - cle. "When my husband asked if they needed help, they just started acting weird." Harting - ton Fire department issues a burn permit for Rolly Burbach.

Man reports there is an injured red tailed hawk and wants to make sure game warden is aware. Woman asks for law enforcement to come to her house. A man she has a protec - tion order against is outside and yelling at her. Randolph man calls for an ambulance for his wife who is in a great deal of pain. He is concerned she may have a collapsed lung.

Medical clinic calls for Hartington ambu - lance to take a man with a possible heart attack to the hospital. Aug. 1: Laurel Fire Department issued a burn permit to Lee Potts.

Cedar County Sher - i's Department was informed they could transport Jason Jones to the state penitentiary in Tecumseh on Mon - day, Aug. 4. Hartington Fire Dept. issues burn permit for Jerome Fischer.

Man calls to ask what can legally be done about a neighbor that leaves his gate open, which means his cows are getting out. The neighbor has no legal right to access his prop - erty in the first place.

Woman calls to make sure law enforcement knows everything is fine. She arrived home and found out her kids accidentally called the State Patrol and then hung up on the wom- an calls with concerns about her daughter who is being cared for by her ex husband.

Aug. 2: Fordyce Fire Dept. is paged out for mutual aid in Crofton.

Caller reports a cow is on the road on Hwy. 57 four miles north of Hartington. Coleridge resident called for an ambulance for a man who fell.

Female caller report - ed she was just hit in the face by her father. He also pushed her to the ground. A few minutes later, her father called saying she is being abu - sive to him and wants an ocer's assistance to control her.
