Fans donned their Halloween costumes to help liven up the student section, as the Laurel- Concord-Coleridge fans packed the gym Saturday afternoon to help cheer on the LCC Lady Bear volleyball team in the District championship game against Stanton. Their efforts seemed to help as the Orange and Black out-lasted a stubborn Stanton team to win the match in five sets and advance to this week’s Class C2 State Tournament in Lincoln. The Lady Bears will take on Norfolk Catholic Thursday night in their State Tournament opener. The first two tournament rounds will be played at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, while the championship matches will be played on the John Cook Court at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. — Advocate photos by Rob Dump
