COLERIDGE — A crew of friends and neighbors joined together to pick 100 acres of corn at the Darrell Nordby farm Thursday using 12 corn pickers. Mr. Nordby is hospitalized at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha following an auto accident on July 7, north of Wayne.

COLERIDGE — Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Bailey moved into their mobile home in Coleridge last Monday.

COLERIDGE — Coleridge Firemen were called to the Gerald Smith farm west of Coleridge late Friday afternoon where a tractor with a mounted corn picker was on fire. Much damage was done to the tractor’s wiring and hoses.

COLERIDGE — Paul Wemhoff, who farms west of Coleridge where his combine had caught fire, called the Fire Department out Monday. The fire was under control by the time firemen arrived. A short in the wiring was believed to be the cause.
