RANDOLPH — For years, Deb Wiese has faithfully filled out the Publishers Clearing House entry blanks and returned them.
Wednesday afternoon, she got the suprise of her life when she realized all of her efforts had finally paid off.
She was returning to her Randolph home after delivering some gardengrown jalapeno peppers to a neighbor when she got quite a surprise.
When she arrived, she was greeted by something she never expected.
The iconic Prize Patrol surprised Deb at her home with flowers, champagne, an armload of PCH merchandise, and their signature “big check” for the life-changing prize.
Howie Guja of Publishers Clearing House, told her the good news. She had won a new Ford Mustang GT Fastback or its cash value of $51,050. “For sure we’re taking the cash,” Wiese said. “I’ve got ideas what to do with it. We have three grandchildren and a son.”
