Champions of Hope

This fall Cedar Catholic was invited to be part of the annual Salvation Army Fundraising Luncheon in Norfolk. The theme of this year’s luncheon was “Champions of Hope” and was held in their brand new facility at 401 N. 4th Street in Norfolk. The keynote speaker was Kevin Kush, former football coach at Boys Town in Omaha. As part of the awards ceremony, Cedar Catholic was recognized as one of the Top Bell Ringer Groups for 2024,raising nearly $1,500 in one morning. Each year CCHS students participate in the Bell Ringing project during the holiday season, as part of a service opportunity in Norfolk. Kendra Schmidt, Calley Stewart, Adelyn Reifenrath and Madison Eickhoff represented Cedar Catholic to accept the award.
