WAYNE — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Lady Bear golf team saw its season come to an abrupt end at the Wayne Country Club in the District C-3 Golf Meet.
LCC posted a team score of 440 which put them three spots out of qualifying as a team for this week’s Class C State Golf Meet at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte.
West Holt grabbed the team title with an 18-hole total of 365, Battle Creek was second with 394 and Wayne grabbed the last ticket to North Platte with a 402.
Daleni Knust of West Holt was the medalist and District Champion after firing an 80, putting her four shots better than Pierce’s Rylee Altwine.
Alexa Suing of Crofton was third with an 87.
Alyza Leonard shot the low round for the Lady Bears, getting to the club house after 107 strokes. Holly Patefield carded a 109, Harper Bruning came in with a 110, Danica Gould shot a 114 and Kenneday Hall fired a 137.
