The Cedar County Volleyball Little League wrapped up its 2025 season with a weekend tournament at the HNS gym. The Orange Team, coached by Nicole Haberer and Katie Fischer, won the Cedar County Little League Volleyball title over the weekend. Team members include: Coach Haberer, Clara Winkelbauer, Elin Haberer, Peyton Holan, Hailey Mainquist, McKinley Fischer, Irelynn Mainquist, and Coach Fischer. The Purple Team, coached by Ashley Leise and Becky Burbach, earned runner-up honors. Team members include: (back row) Coach Leise, Adalee Klug, Claire Dickes, Camila Reyes, Coach Burbach, (front row) Piper Dendinger, Adalynn Zach, Shae Leise, and Kallie Burbach.
Cedar Catholic’s Easton Hochstein bursts through a hole his offensive line opened up during action in Friday’s District contest here against Ponca. The Trojans won the contest 48-0 to remain unbeaten on the year.
