Homecoming

Annual event is once again deemed as a big success

LAUREL — Homecoming Week 2025 provided quite a few highlights for LCC students, staff and community members.

Homecoming week started Sunday, Sept. 28 with a pep rally at Haskell Field. The week wrapped up Friday, Oct. 3 with a parade, coronation, a football game and a dance.

Coronation ceremonies were held at Haskell Field at the conclusion of the football game.

Special spirit Dress-Up Days and activities are also held throughout the week.

LCC students actually took part in two Homecoming Parades — one in downtown Laurel and a smaller one in downtown Coleridge.

Main Street businesses also took part in the festivities by decorating their windows and participating in the Glow Parade through downtown Laurel.

This year’s 2025 Homecoming King is Oscar Salas and the queen is Kate Tasler. The week was filled with fun, activities and games for the school. The night ended with a Homecoming dance with lots of lights and glow sticks.
