CREIGHTON - The Randolph cross country teams traveled to Creighton Oct. 2 for the Creighton Cross Country Invitational.
Lady Cardinal Emily Gilliland brought home some hardware from the race, using a time of 30-minutes, 30-seconds to place ninth individually.
Destiny Rich of Bloomfield/Wausa led her team to the team title, covering the 5,000-meter course 24:00, 48 seconds in front of teammate Hallie Kumm. Isabel Rolfes of Hartington-Newcastle was third in 24:49.
Bloomfield/Wausa posted a team score of 13, Creighton was second with 17.
Kamdin Worlein finished just one spot out of the medals in 16th with a time of 24:11, Brayden Worlein was second for Randolph using a 28:06 to place 20th.
Bloomfield-Wausa also won the boys division with a team score of 7, Creighton was third with 17 and Hartington- Newcastle was third with 29.
Ty Freeman was the medalist with a run of 18:24, teammate Luke Woockman was second in 18:53 and Creighton’s Conner Rohrer was third in 19:14.
Randolph will be heading to Bloomfield Oct. 10 for the Lewis & Clark Conference Meet which is scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m.
