2010: Dunn, Heimes crowned as HNS Homecoming king, queen

MILWAUKEE — The Cedar County News was honored last week for writing one of the best weekly newspaper editorials in the United States.

The News picked up a first-place award for editorial writing at the National Newspaper Association’s 2005 Better Newspaper Contest during the Association’s 119th annual convention and trade show.

There were more than 3,000 entries from 42 states and the District of Columbia in the annual contest.
