Lady ‘Cats looking to break out of slump

HARTINGTON — The Hartington- Newcastle Lady Wildcats fell to 4-13 on the season with losses last week to Wausa, Creighton and O’Neill St. Marys.

The Lady Cats were slated to take on state-rated Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Tuesday night and will host West Point-Beemer Thursday before taking part in a Saturday tournament.

HNS then has a triangular with Winside and Tri-County Northeast before entering the Greater Northeast Nebraska Conference Tournament on Oct. 18-24. SubDistrict action will follow that.
