COLERIDGE — Ralph Felber escaped injury Tuesday when the car he was riding in was hit by a car driven by Lloyd Spreeman of Norfolk. The accident occurred west of Coleridge on the Pearl Creek road. The Felber car was completely demolished after being turned and rolled 128 feet.

COLERIDGE — SA Donald E. Ruger, SA Gene Rose, Laurel, and SA John Pate, Norfolk, left Monday from Columbus after spending leaves at the home of their parents. Roger reports to a Navy base at San Diego, Calif., and Rose and Pate go to San Francisco, Calif.

COLERIDGE — A fish fry was held at the Arnold Hansen home Thursday in honor of Mr. Hansen on his birthday. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Calhoon; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hoffart; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Felber; Virgil Meinke; and Leonard Feuerbach.

COLERIDGE — Richard Brandl won first place in the Pass, Punt and Kick contest in the 10-year-old division at Wayne Sunday. Brandl, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brandl, will compete in Fremont next.

COLERIDGE — Ed Roth is a patient at the Osmond General Hospital following an accident Tuesday afternoon when a Coleridge Dehy truck he was driving overturned as he was leaving a field southwest of town.
