RANDOLPH — Randolph Farm Supply is a prime example of strength of the people the community and area that it serves.
The company was incorporated in March 1986 after being associated with Tri-County Coop.
Randolph Farm Supply started after a group of local investors sought to preserve services offered through the business after it split from Tri-County.
The business provides fertilizer, ag chemicals, feed, seed, fuels and propane from Randolph and a coverage area extending into a fivecounty area.

RANDOLPH — Local customers of KN Energy apparently will dodge what are expected to be record high natural gas prices this coming winter.
In a recent announcement from Kinder-Morgan, parent company of KN Energy, customers that locked into a fixed rate during the 1999/2000 Choice Gas program will be protected from increasing natural gas rates.

RANDOLPH — Fire Departments and Rescue Squads from around Cedar County came to Randolph Saturday as part of a County-wide disaster drill here.
The drill, which had been in the planning stages for over a year, involved a train and automobile collision, an ethanol spill and the evacuation of a school.

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Q125 float made an appearance last Saturday at the Lions Club Parade held in Norfolk.
Pulling the float was Dennis Kollars of Randolph. Olivia Bargstadt and Carlie Thies volunteered to walk along the Q125 float.
The parade was an excellent chance for Randolph to get its float out to start spreading the word about next year’s big Q125 event being planned here.

RANDOLPH — Randolph High School has announced their Fall 2015 Homecoming royalty and attendants.
Randolph’s Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during Coronation ceremonies following Friday night’s football game. The dance will follow coronation.
This year’s Homecoming festivities will feature several Dress Up Days to help students get into the spirit of the week.
The first theme day is Tuesday, Oct. 6.
That day will be designated as Million Dollar Day. Wednesday will be Opposite Gender Day. Thursday is a day for nostalgia, as it is Throwback Thursday.
The week winds down with Spirit Day Friday. Students and local residents are urged to wear their red and white for the day.
The annual pep rally will be held downtown, at 3 p.m., at Main and Broadway.
Elementary School students will also be taking part in this week’s Homecoming festivities, but will have their own unique Dress Up Days.
