Wynot girls earn sweep over Bees

WYNOT - The Wynot Lady Blue Devils had just one match over the past week and made the most of it with a 25-15, 25-17 and 28-26 sweep over Bloomfield on Sept. 16.

“I was looking forward to getting back in the gym and getting some practice time coming into this break,” said Wynot coach Tristan Wieseler. “We have a big game this week with LCC.”

Taylor Pinkelman had the hot swing at the net on the night, finishing with seven kills, Jenna Oligmueller added five, Mya Pinkelman recorded four, Jordan Foxhoven three and Tiara Sudbeck had two.

Haley Wieseler had three ace serves and 19 set assists and Jaylin Geisen posted 28 digs.

Oligmueller and Foxhoven added 18 and 19 digs respectively.

As the coach said above, the Lady Blue Devils have a match with Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Wakefield in a triangular in Wynot on Sept. 25 before heading to Tri County Northeast on Sept. 30.
