1960: Music Boosters hold first meeting of the season

Sept. 15, 1960

RANDOLPH — The Music boosters Club held its first meeting of the season Monday at the Legion Hall.

A reception welcomed the members of the faculty, introduced Supt. Fred Pokorney. Sharolyn Hansen and Barbara Claussen presented a piano selection and Carolyn Lenhoff and Diane Van Auker, presented a vocal duet.

Sept. 15, 1960 

RANDOLPH — Laurel High School downed the Randolph Cards 27-0 Friday night.

The contest was the season opener for both schools and was played on the Randolph gridiron.

Sept. 10, 1970

RANDOLPH —Paul Hosch, LaVern Gubbels and Robert Wintz have returned to St. John’s Seminary near Elkhorn where they are high school students.
