Randolph Women’s Club meets at Colonial Estates

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Women’s Club met at the Colonial Estates Sept. 8. The meeting’s theme was, “Oh, the places you can go!” Each member placed a pin on the map of a favorite place, or a destination they would like to visit someday.

The group will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with a luncheon on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Methodist Church. Many past and current members will be present. If you are a potential new member who would like to learn more about the Randolph Women’s Club, please contact Sherry Bradleyor Janet Groen before Oct. 1, about attending this celebration.

The next meeting will be held at the Lied Library on Monday, Oct. 13, beginning at 2 p.m..

Jan Schiferl, a singer-songwriter from Fordyce, will be the guest speaker. The Schiferls train horses and raise cattle on their W.J. Ranch there. They also host many events at the ranch, including their annual “Cowboy Christmas.” Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy Jan’s musical talents.
